January 2009

I was interviewed by 'Mallycat' this January! This unique on-line shop has happily sold some of my designs as greeting cards since 2007, but in addition, they produce funky personalised wash bags for ladies and kids (they really are worth a look!). Mallycat and I had a chat because they were interested in finding out more about Gem Artwork, and myself as an artist and illustrator. This is my mallycat interview.

November 2008

Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon hosted a charity 'Butterfly Ball' for Welsh Hospice Ty Hafan, at London's Cafe Royal. Ty Hafan provides care for children suffering from a range of life-limiting conditions, a service that costs them £2.5 million a year and fundraising events are crucial. I was honoured to be able to offer my support to this fundraising event in London, and donated a special fairy painting for the auction. Mounted on cream, and framed in an exquisite mock-gold frame, it was sold and along with other donations, helped to raise over £30,000 for the hospice.

June 2008
This is Gem Artwork's stand at the faerie and elementals festival 2008, at the breath-taking Afan Forest Park, Cynonville, Port Talbot. We had a fantastic weekend, and met some wonderful people, despite the weather!

I was delighted to be interviewed by journalist Debbie James, and the interview was featured in publications including quality Welsh magazine, Pembrokeshire County Living. Click here to read Gem Artwork's article that appeared in their Early Summer edition.
